The Day of Decision… Every Day…
My friends, every morning when you awaken you make a decision. Either we either decide to BE happy and grateful, or we don’t. We either decide to NOT blame others for our current situation in life, or we don’t.
Decide to do the hard and scary work on you, day by day to carry out great plans for your good life.
If your goal is potentially years away from coming to fruition, be daily joyful to have something that wonderful in your future. I, when in my best effort live by this and in my public and private speaking and teaching, teach this.
You will often hear me repeating Abraham Heschel’s wise sentiment that “Something sacred hangs in the balance of every moment.”
Along the way, we choose joy or we don’t.
Mere circumstances are too fickle and unpredictable to put them in charge of our happiness.
While I don’t advocate living as though the timer on the microwave is the pace you should live your life, I also know how in a split second your life, or that of one you love can be extinguished…
The Hebrew word for us is Nephesh – or “the being that prays.” I pray for you this year, 2017, that you truly embrace life and the Life given to us through Yeshua, “the way, the truth and the life…” John 14:6 We are already halfway through this year… Remember that.
Times will get mighty rocky the rest of this year, and next year, and the year after, be sure of that. The Bible tells us when Peter was walking on the water toward Yeshua that the only time he sank was when he took his eyes off of Yeshua… I need to learn that lesson every morning. Every. Single. Morning.
I wish the best for my friends in the remainder of 2017.
You and I are now 6 months into our 2017, but we might well be minutes from our end here on earth… We can so quickly come to our end…
Why not choose to live fully and completely NO MATTER our circumstances TODAY!?
I will be with you in the easy times and the hard. In just one one hundredth of a second, 92mph vs 51mph, head on… I decelerated from 51mph to ZERO in just SEVEN feet. Live fully. Do not waste one second… You just never know.
Let us sow good seeds. Let us harvest bounty… God bless you all. The Ninja Pastor™
